Thai Adventure: SedThee

August 1, 2010

After watching Inception (one of my new favorite movies!!!) at the Americana with my friends, we dined at Sedthee for a late lunch.

Mundo order a "Divine Weed" out of curiosity XD

Spicy Lamb Chops $15.95

Grass-fed, New Zealand lamb chops intensely intensely marinated with Thai spices and herbs and grilled until pink and tender. Served with mashed potatoes and steamed spinach.

-Sonya's dish

Happy Tiger $15.95

Not your typical crying tiger! Tender filet mignon rubbed down nine times with nine different spices to create this Happy Tiger. Served with mashed potatoes and steamed spinach.

-Mundo's dish

Jungle Feast Curry $13.95 (v)

Crispy duck with sweet pineapple and grapes in spicy forest curry with coconut milk. Also available with vegan soy duck.

-My dish

It definitely had a Thai curry spicy taste to it. Unfortunately I can't be more descript than that because I don't even know what creates that taste XD. The roast duck was delicious and tasted just like a regular good roast duck. Neither dry nor soggy. I feel that the Thai curry spice flavor made the vegetables/ fruits more tasty. I enjoyed every bite X)

All Done!

 Raspberry-Lychee Souffle $7.95

Topped with coconut whipped cream. Made fresh to order. Please allow at least 30 minutes.

-Shared dish

We shared a fresh tiramisu for dessert :). Mundo was smart and ordered it at the beginning of the meal so that when 30 minutes baking time had past, we were rested and ready for dessert :D

The tiramisu was so yummy! So perfectly moist! It felt like it was the most moist a dessert of that texture could get before becoming soggy. The inside was so hot and fluffy! Perfectly sweet :).

We actually had strawberries instead of raspberries, which I prefer anyway :D. I think I would have enjoyed the lychee more if Mundo had warned how scalding hot it be ^_^;;

Bill!

All in all, it was a delicious meal. I would definitely eat here again :).

~*Extra*~

They actually had vegan versions of many of the dishes, including mine

My cousin just told me it's a nightclub at night! I noticed it had a nice bar/stage/open space. Perhaps I can go there again some night :P

Until next time!
